The thing about that is, it's true! Unlike your belief that your OLM is dead set on 10,000. If the OLM is really set on 10K regardless, then something is wrong with it. Plain & simple. I'm not calling you a liar, but look at all these Fords I deal with in the family business & the Fords I drive every day for all these years. There is no oil life monitor that is set on 10,000 miles from Ford. There's the intelligent OLM, which could range from 5,000-10,000 & there's the "unintelligent" OLM that's set on 7,500 regardless of conditions. Ford's IOLM also works like a charm, I get oil changes from 6,000-10,000 depending on the vehicle's usage.
