My system is Dell Laptop Windows XP.
Whenever I disable an add-on, it reverts back to 'Enabled' after the computer restarts. Happens also whenever I attempt disabling multiple add-ons.
I checked all the check-mark settings in Options, msconfig and Services. A few non-Microsoft I am not familiar with and will leave them alone. Same with 'Applications' in Firefox.
This entire system and components were all updated this week. Only a coupe needed updating....ie... Java, Flashplayer, VLC Player, lastly Firefox from 20 to 21.
Not sure what to check next.
