My personal recommendation is mix 5w20 and 5w30 in equal parts. Supertech full synth is only $17 a 5 qt jug.
I have mixed 0w20 with 5w30 when i lived in Charlotte to deal with 80mph commuting in the heat. This winter in Syracuse NY I plan to mix 0w16 and 0w20 to get a better winter blend.
