Wasn’t the 10w-40 working well? I wouldn’t change a thing without a UOA of the 10w-40.

Mobil 1 15-50 is not high zinc anymore.
Like other sport car makers, Ferrari probably advised to use 50 weights because before the 90's, mandatory HTHS for 5W-40 and 10W-40 was only of 2.9 (like 5W-30), while Mandatory minimum HTHS for 15W-40, 20W-40, and upper weights was 3.5.
Since then, VII have largely improved.
Since 1994, according to API, bottom HTHS is 3.5 for any 40 weight.
Today, any Euro 5W-30 will have this 3.5 HTHS. 10W-40's HTHS is in 3.7~4.0 range, any 50 weight is far above 4.0.

As of six weeks ago, it was still specifically listed with over 1300 ppm and for flat tappet camshafts so unless it changed in May after I started this thread, I doubt it.

Runs great, no burn off so far, oil pressure and oil temp is perfect. I’ve made my choice so there’s no need to keep beating the dead horse.

Did you even bother to look at the link I posted multiple times? From ExxonMobil themselves, not a random guy on the internet, it’s SN and 1300 ppm of zinc and this is as of the month this thread started.
This forum is frustrating as hell sometimes. You really have to wade through a ton of BS.
Uhhhh, 40,50 and 60 grade oils are not considered resource conserving, and therefore Zddp is not limited in these oils.
