So I was patiently awaiting the delivery of my 3 bottles of Auto-RX today as the Fed-Ex man is always there around 12:30 if I have something coming Fed-Ex. So, around 1 I checked the tracking # I got from Frank and Fed-Ex said the package was delivered to my front door at 12:32. So, I checked and nothing was there. I checked with my neighbors and they did not have it and an expanded search of the block showed nothing.

So, with an elevated blood pressure I called Fed-Ex. I gave them the tracking # and they apologized for the error. The lady said she had sent a message to the terminal the driver came from and their dispatcher would call the driver and send him back to get the package from the wrong house and bring it to me. She said the terminal or driver would call me within 60 minutes.

Well, I never got a phone call and never got my Auto-Rx. Needless to say I am not happy.

Frank has a great product, FAST shipping and Fed-Ex messes it all up. I guess I get the fun of calling back and continuing the claim process and possible re-ordering my Auto-Rx as I am sure it is lost in Fed-Ex land now.

Yeah, for important stuff I never let them do the "No Signature Required" thing. I've had stuff get lost, stolen, etc. when just left on a porch...and if it's the wrong porch, technically whoever picks it up is "theirs". That's what insurance is for. I haven't had to do claims with FedEx, but 5 or 6 times with UPS.

+1 I thought that DHL did most deliveries for AutoRX. Those delivery drivers are independent contractors, and can vary in quality, reliability, and prison background :)

Familiarity breeds attempt.

I heard the driver is already in the rinse phase....

There's nothing like adding a little insult to injury...

My UPS driver knows if he's not comfortable in leaving something at my door, that he can deliver it a few miles down his route at my next door neighbor's place of business... which is also on his route.

It's a win-win.

I live in an apartment complex with at least 100 people in the building I'm in alone. So I ordered some detailing stuff and the store sends it by UPS. Usually they deliver to the front office for safe keeping and the tenants go to pick up the package. I come home from class today and found my package in front of the door to my room and I was happy and thought one of my roommates must have accepted it. But I check the UPS tracking info and it said it was left in front of the door. So one of my roommates must have came home and got to the package before some crook here could have snagged it. I don't know why the driver detracted from the norm but You'd imagine it'd be common sense in such a setting to not leave a package where so many people can take it when there is a safer place to leave it.

This happens a lot if they leave it at the front instead of leaving a note for you to pick up. I once lost a ceiling fan... A CEILING FAN..... from FedEx. Talking about losing something.

Every time I've ordered rims from Tire Rack, they've always left the package outside my door... Talk about not being obvious!

I forget if it was FedEx or UPS, but one time I had my Xbox 360 shipped back to me after being repaired, and I was home during the time they said they were going to deliver it, and it never came. I eventually left the house and saw a note on the door saying "Sorry we missed you!" apparently, after calling support and having them talk to the actual driver, they only bothered to knock on the garage door, not ring the doorbell or knock on the door inside the garage, just the one outside going into the garage. I was home and would've heard if they rang the doorbell or knocked on the actual door. What the heck?!
