My cats like a mix of meat, chicken, or fish with broccoli, zucchini, carrots, and squash. Corn is a rare treat for the cats as it is for me. While their diet consists mostly of small-cut animal protein, I do feed them some plant matter. I make sure everything is cooked and soft. I don't want my cats to choke. I also feed them a little bit of banana, cantaloupe, and berries, and of course, they nibble on fresh catnip. They don't get dairy but an occasional scrambled egg. Tigger nabs raw eggs from the fridge if I'm not careful. They also get Greenies. Still, cats that eat mostly wet food require more frequent tooth brushing and dental cleanings.

Favorites:
Chicken and carrots or cauliflower
beef and carrots or zucchini
fish and broccoli

It's kind of like baby food!

At first I thought you meant cat recipes because of what has been in the news lately.😁

You can't have outdoor cats here; the coyotes think they are rabbits. And the raccoons are MEAN!
Yeah someone I think a while back had a doorbell video where their cat went off camera and a mountain lion grabbed it. Who would have thought.

Reminds me of our last cat. We had a fixed male kitty that was also front de-clawed when we got him as a "late kitten"? We lived in small town Iowa, and he got to where we could not keep him inside anymore (fill in your own blanks here). He lived in the garage, and the neighbors LOVED him...he was adopted as the neighborhood kitty.

We moved to an acreage in the country...heavily wooded, along a river valley. We hunted/trapped on it. I personally saw a mated pair of wolves on it, and evidence of mountain lions. We took KC (short for Kitty Cat) with us, and didn't expect him to live long. Boy were we wrong...

He first disappeared for a little over a week, and came back looking like HECK. He then mastered his domain, bringing back all sorts of wild critters, including large varmints, a coon, a beaver...all without front claws. I have NO IDEA how he survived, but he did. We ended up moving out, and grandfathering him to the new owners...as that was his land now. Miss that cat.

Here he is coming on a winter walk with us...

In our coastal and rural towns you may see coyotes and even an occasional cougar* strutting down Main Street. They may snag cats and dogs, and sometimes you hear of a bird of prey going after small dogs. Watch out if you have chickens - everybody loves chicken.

* feline variety
