Just wanted to hear some opinions or whatnot from those who have carbed toys or vehicles.

I just got my boat up and running, it sat for 2 years. Had 2oz of tcw3 per 5 gallons of fuel.

The boat fired up like I drove it the day before. So I'm assuming none of the oriface tubes gummed up due to the oil.

What do you use in carbed stuff?

besides the vehicles in my signature I also have 3 lawn mowers and a trimmer, and a blower. I use MMO in the gas can for everyday use, and add sta-bil for winter storage. I am sure the 2 cycle oil works good also, as it seems just having oil in the gas keeps the jets in the carbs from gumming up.

I use Sta-Bil for long term storage, and for a cleaner, Lucas for regular maintenance, sometimes Gumout Regane, for problems Berryman's or Seafoam.

I use TCW3 oil in 4 stroke gasoline engines, Stanadyne Performance Formula in Diesel engines. Occasional Warm-Up Chemicals if i just got a used car, before going routine fir the formers.

Got a bunch of bottles of Star Tron for dirt cheap. Works fine on my OPE stuff during storage. MIght throw a little Seafoam or Berryman in during the season if I happen to remember.

Those are air additives rather than fuel additives though.

Might try squirting butane in the petrol tank just before it goes for its government test. (I lost the documents otherwise I'd avoid a govt test like the plague), but maybe ethanol is a better bet.

1969 Charger 440 bored .060 over. When it was shut off the heat boiled the ethacrud/unleaded out of the carb. By using MMO at least the inside of the carb was a nice shiney/oily residue, not the white flaky crud.

MMO for OPE gas. 2 strokes get an oily 32:1 of Valvoline Universal. They are air cooled. That is the reason I use 32:1, not 50:1 as advised. A little MMO per tankful just for smell.
High ratio mixes are the 2 stroke equivalent of 0w20. I'm a thick oil guy
