The 208 year Old Farmers Almanac will fold this year. The long time popular bathroom reading mag is ceasing publication due to financial reasons. Apparently this not the same as the Old Farmers Almanac. Perhaps someone can post the link. :)

and I quote: "You may have heard that the Farmer’s Almanac, based out of Lewiston, ME, is ceasing publication after an incredible 200+ year run.

Over the years, there has been some confusion between different almanacs, so to be clear: The OLD Farmer’s Almanac isn’t going anywhere. As we have since 1792, during George Washington’s presidency, we will continue to publish our annual edition, while educating and entertaining readers online at Almanac.com."

It's in the book and this is the ONLY Old Farmer's Almanac that I read -

I get one every year, a fall tradition for this old timer.

As a kid my family read the Old version. I consider the Lewiston version to be a rip-off.

I am sad for Maine publishers though as we lost "Uncle Henrys" swap guide not too long ago as well.
