Fanttik X8 Apex and S200

I didn't really need a pump myself but I ended up buying one from Costco in-store for $40 ($50 online: https://www.costco.com/p/-/fanttik-...inflator-with-power-bank/4000370318?langId=-1).

I charged it up to 100% and then used it to fill up the following on some friends' cars:

  • 4 215/60R16 - ranging from 26-30 pounds each and inflated to 36
  • 4 235/70R16 - ranging from 26-28 pounds each and inflated to 33
This brought the battery percentage down to about 50%.

  • Automatically shuts off when the target PSI is reached
    • Time saver compared to inflating, shutting off, and checking with gauge repeatedly
  • Accuracy
    • Checked end result using a good gauge and it was within .5 PSI
  • Ease of use
    • Nice being able to skip the extra steps dealing with the cord going into the accessory outlet and using a tire gauge
  • Performance
    • It would add about 1 PSI per 15 seconds when fully charged (about what my dc air pump performed at)
The box says it "Supports up to 27 Tire Inflations per Charge (28-33 PSI)". It doesn't say what size tire that is based on so I am not sure if my results were necessarily good or bad but I like this thing. The ease of use will have me checking inflation more often and I will be topping off 2 to 3 PSI at a time so my test is worst case for me.

I would think this inflator would be especially handy for those who are not likely to keep their tires inflated because they don't know how to do it or don't have a pump and gauge handy.

I also tried it on a gravel bike using the Presta valve adapter it came with and it worked fast to get it to 50 PSI.

It also works as a power bank and has a flashlight and hazard light.
