Fan clutch question

If it is a thermal clutch then you are correct.

No offense intended but it is quite hard to get any accurate diagnoses over the internet.

About 20 posts on this and you've never said whether or not you're running the A/C or exactly how hot the weather is.

The temperature gauge in the instrument cluster doesn't tell you much. Often they don't move unless the engine temperatures are extremely hot.

When the engine is excessively hot, it may produce less power. The ignition timing is far less advanced in order to prevent knock.

I noticed when its colder outside it doesnt come on and make a roaring noise but today it was 80f outside and it was roaring when i would accelerate so is this normal for the fan to spin fast when its hot outside?
