Hi.

I promised to tell about this additive, and what happened when we put it in our "new" 1993 model Nissan Sunny 2.0 Diesel(without turbo), with a manual transmission.

It is extremely slow!

The positive thing about that, is that it will be easier to notice any changes that occur, power-wise.

And something has happened.

I started with (lack of)acceleration tests, in two different hills.

I did this test 3 times in each hill, to be sure that the numbers were correct.

At a certain point, in the bottom of the first hill(at 80 km/h in 5th gear), I pressed the acceleration pedal to the floor, and at the measuring point at top of the hill, the speed was at 72 km/h.

In the other hill, I did the same thing, except that the speed at the top was down to 62 km/h.

I added the F2-21 to the fuel, when I filled the tank.

After some 3-400 km, I noticed a slight improvement in pulling power, and in the way it was accelerating.

This can easily be said to be inaccuracy in the "butt-dyno, but according to the numbers, taken at the same hills, and similar weather conditions, the difference is so big that i will state that something positive has happened.

After two tanks of diesel, these numbers appeared:

Hill 1 : Started at 80 km/h in the bottom, and now it was at 80 km/h on top of the hill.

Hill 2 : Started at 80 km/h in the bottom, and now it was at 70 km/h at top of the hill.

Will drive another 2-3000 kilometers, before changing the oil, and adding Rev-X.

What I can say so far, is that this F2-21 fuel additive, has been very positive for the performance on this car.

Will see what happens during the next few weeks.

Remember, when testing an additive, it is much easier to see changes, when you have a car with less horsepower.

To see changes in a car with 4-500 horsepower, can be much more difficult, and is best done in a closed environment.

In the gasoline engine world I'd be willing to bet there is a spike in people claiming the MPG gains of various UCLs and octane boosters, thinner oils etc right around May when the summer gas rolls out.

But the point about feeling differences in an underpowered small vehicle is right on.

Hi, Bob.
I thought this, too, but according to the producer, it isn't so.
Remember, the dosage I was told to use is 5 milliliters in 50 liters(13 US gallons)of fuel.

I doubted the effect of this additive, and wrote to them.
They then was so confident about their product, that they offered to send me a free sample.
I will continue to use it, if the gains in power stays the same(or improves further).
If any improvement in MPG shows up(so far it hasn't), even better.

I have tried several other additives, and one of the best things with this one, is how easy it is to measure out the exact amount needed for every fill, as well as it being easy to pour it in the filler neck because of the design of the bottle.

Just a brief update:

Filled the tank today, at the same gas station as I always use.
Fuel consumption was 0.58 liters pr 10 kilometers driven(some 40.55 MPG)
I have my fuel log-book in the car, but I think the first tank, it used 0.55, the second time it used 0.61, and now 0.58(will come back to these numbers, before I change oil and put Rev-X in the engine).

Beginning on the fourth tank of fuel, and also performance wise, it hasn't improved any, from last time.

I tried the car in both "test hills", when I filled diesel, and the speed was the same as last time(80 and 71-72).

Another update:

The MPG is the same(0,59 liters pr 10 kilometers), after 5 fill-ups with diesel.
The engines pulling power(acceleration tests) has not changed, since last time.
If this additive is going to give increased MPG, it sure takes some time.

I now added the Rev-X oil additive to the engine, when I changed oil and filter.
I only used a semi-synthetic oil, since the Rev-X will boost the oils performance.

Just a quick update.

In the first hill, where I started at 80 and had 72 on top of it, it is now 87 km/h. A difference of 16 km/h in 5th gear.

In the second hill, where I started at 80 km/h and had 62 at the top, it was now at 75 km/h. An increase of 13 km/h.

Have now been driving some 3500 miles with F2-21 and about 900-1000 miles with the Rev-x.

Good to see that it is working, even though I had my doubts about it, to begin with.

Is the boost in power more the result of F2-21 or Rev-X? Has there been any difference in fuel economy?

Hi, Jim.
I wasn't any difference last time I filled it up.
I will fill diesel tomorrow, then I will see.

I suspect this is more the result from the Rev-X, since it has improved so much, since I added it, some 900-1000 miles ago.

I saw an improvement from the F2-21, rather early, but after that, it has not been improving pulling power or MPG.

MPG has been roughly the same(less fluctuation than 3%), since I started the use of F2-21.

I have now added F2-21 in the other car, without doing anything else, just to see if it does anything.

As they say "nothing ventured nothing gained" but I wouldn't expect too much out of F2-21. I've not as yet used Rev-X but from my experience using other products it's much easier to realize a performance gain over a fuel efficiency gain. Glad you are getting at least something out of it.

I was filling it up, right now, and it was a slight increase in MPG.

Down to 0.56 liters per 100 km, so it is nothing to talk about, yet.

In the end of March, I will give you the MPG numbers(but in liters per 100 km).

I guess this isn't that interesting, anyway, so I won't bother to recalculate it into MPG.
