2019 Genesis G80 Sport (3.3l V6) belonging to my BIL.
I sought part sources online, starting with dealership parts departments to avoid counterfeit parts.
There were options for full sets of plugs for Genesis' other engines.

However, plugs for the 3.3l, with its 42,000 mi. spark plug interval, are listed singly.
I've found them for $38 to $43 each. No sets of 6 were listed.
RockAuto doesn't even have a listing for spark plugs for that engine.
I am flabbergasted.

Does anyone know the story behind these apparently special sparky poos?
Is this 3.3 a queer duck of some sort?

Any feedback is appreciated.

edit: I did just find an Amazon listing for a set of 6 genuine plugs from "Big Tiger Parts" for $129.70 + $15 s+h
Also, Amazon had a "click over here" ad for OE plugs from MTQ Auto Parts (?) for $84.50.
Remember, the dealership prices come to ~$240.

Consider yourself lucky it could be a VW turbo application where they don't last half as long..

^^I looked around too. That RockAuto doesn't list them is the "biggest news" so far.
Actually, that the one engine (the 3.3 turbo) has its own, singular plug, is a bit puzzling.

My query to NGK is sent.

HUMOR: I mentioned that found an online listing for the plug for >$42 each.
I called the North Carolina dealership and the attentive lad told me it's more expensive to order them over the phone >>$59 per plug.
What's this world coming to?
