Ordered some home heating oil a week ago. Now they say they are another week out. So I went to Exxon and used the Upside app for $3.52 a gallon. Filled up my transparent 5.5 gallon container i just got from TS today..

The fuel didn't foam and it was a lighter yellow color like Lucas UCL.
Looks like a quality fuel.

The value added part was i tapped the nozzle against the container to stop it dripping and while off a continuous stream of I'd say about .120 " od continued to flow non stop and now I know why these diesel guys sit at the pump a half hour....

I've seen them do it for years....

It was to the point it really would add up especially for OPE..... they need to fix that.

Worn shutoff valves?
For Diesel I use Open Roads or Gasbuddy if I can't but have Mudflap installed too.
Not sure but it wouldn't stop and of course the concrete in the area is soaked.

LSJ talks about how most US diesel is short on additives
(First 12 minutes is enough) …

2017 Top Tier Diesel started but then no one wanted to deal with it. 2019 "Premium Diesel" launched by another body that seemed to gain more traction.

So far I've only found Cenex offering it but only at select locations that are way too far away from me. "Cenex Road ranger" is what they're calling their Premium Diesel. Until this is more widespread I'm using Power Service additive.

Just adding notes. (y)
