Needed to change the oil in wife's 2002 Windstar with 3.8 V6 and I could not find any 5w-20 in Walmart and the only 5w-20 in Autozone was the Exxon 5w-20. I did a search and the only Exxon 5w-20 was in Honda's. How do you think this will do in the Ford OHV V6?

It will probably do fine for 3-4K. A used oil analysis of this oil would be great to add to this site for precisely the reason you mentioned...it's only been reported on here in Honda engines.
The Honda guys tend to use Exxon Superflo because its the same as the Honda Branded Oil. Cant have anything "Ford" in a Honda as it would be "inferior".
It passes the Ford Test for 5W-20.
I dont really know anything about the new SM/GF-4 version but in the SL/GF+3 versions Motorcraft/Conoco and Honda/Exxon were roughly equivalent.

Personally I consider the Exxon 5W-20 Superflo to be a high bang for the buck "sleeper" oil which until recently was little talked about here on BITOG.

I don't know about a v6 but it sure works well in the mother in law's 4.6. The oci's on that one are REeeeeeal Long (only gets changed when I get to it ...eventually) By the way, I've run motorcraft in my civic, amazingly enough its still running
