Everyone`s thoughts on MI 10W40 HM

I searched the forum (search kept timing out) on Mobil 1 High Mileage 10w40 oil. I`ve been curious about it. Is it one of their PAO`s (like the 0W40 and the 15W50 silver cap)? How would I fare using it in my low mileage Z compared to Mobil 1 15W50 silver cap (which has been an excellent oil).

Any experienced users out there?

Can't say much to your low mileage issues, and can't comment on how much PAO (but you be hardpressed to find anyone who can comment - with authority - on the % PAO in any Synth. these days) - but anyway, I have been extremely plsed with Mobil 1 10w40 HM in my 88 Mazda. Mobil 1 High Mileage has done an excellent job at reducing (almost eliminating) my start-up smoke. And the engine seems very smooth and responsive w/ Mobil 1 High Mileage. It's my favorite - having used most all the HMs on the market.

I would think it's add. pack would be more robust than the 15w50. But ?
