ever heard of Vic oil filters?

anyone here from southeast asia? ever heard of VIC oil filters? how are they? they're all over parts supply stores here - and short of buying a filter from the dealerships, VIC seems the way to go here in the Philippines.

did a search but can't find VIC filters. Fram isn't available here in the Phils.

You might try W&L Corporation in Quezon City 725-0329 and Manila 244-0301. They sell Luber-finer which is made by Champion Laboratories in the USA.

The real VIC filters are made in Japan and are pretty good (see this site) but the ones in the Philippines are counterfeit (made locally), stay away from them!
