I attended a dinner party by Valvoline a couple days ago, in south east Asia. The presenter from Valvoline said their Valvoline Restore and Protect will come out soon in European flavors.

seriously though these VW/Audi owners that have been running Restore and Protect 5w30 in their oil burners are going to be thrilled with this.
It was just a buffet, but at a five-star hotel, lol.

Any mention if the Euro oils will be approved to, or at least meet MB, BMW or VW specs? Any mention on a target date for getting to market?

I believe it's a "recommended for" oil, unless they decided to certify. If Valvoline is recommending it, I'd feel very confident with that. They have a lot of in-house testing capabilities and know what their products are capable of and not capable of comparatively speaking against their own existing Euro formulations.
Their US lab can certify oils for API licensing.

Didn't mention the specific markets, given America is such a big market for euro cars, it's likely the oil will be available there too.
I believe that would most likely be the case, "recommended for" only.
No date yet, lol. I'm guessing it'll launch in the US too, since that's such a huge market for euro cars. Like Buster mentioned, it'll probably be a "recommended for" oil.
It just mentioned acea c2/c3 only, no talk of any oem specs, so it'll probably come out as a "recommended for" oil.
