Ethanol Adulteration

Huh?

You asked me if it was Brazil and i said no? Where did i withheld?
Normally you'd follow up with the actual country... but it's apparently a conspiracy by big ethanol that requires all of the secrecy so you gotta keep it on the DL... on a public forum.

Hard to give answers without knowing what the actual percentages are, or what additives he might be able to purchase in his country, or what the vehicles in question are.

Adding Ethyl alcohol to fuel is one of the worse things done to gasoline in the past two decades. The second is garbage Chinese carburetors on ODPE.

I'd rather have MTBE as an oxygenate - I don't recall problems with the car per se - though of course the compound is very bad when leached into groundwater.

One good outcome is most filling stations had new UGST installed.

Very odd chart for comparison to Amsoil. They didn't chose Amsoil Fuel Stabilizer. I wonder why??

Idk, I think all three are good choices, some might be better for some issues. Kinda like CLP vs using Hoppes 9 and then a LP. I wouldn't worry to much. It does give a basic idea of what each can do and cant. My presumption about Seafoam was right on from the very start though lol

Sure it’s kinda what people accuse Amsoil of. They chose a product not specifically designed for what the chart claims or what we are discussing so it seems kinda useless imho

actually I didnt. but apparently the country's name is top secret as you have dodged providing it several times.
So I find it hard to take your question seriously.
If you scroll back you will see another poster asking if it was Brazil. Apparently i thought it was you. If you wanted to know the country you could have asked straight up instead of unloading your little tantum.

The issue then is you have started throwing accusations of me not answering a question you never asked.? That tells me there is more to your whining than meets the eye. Whatever it is, it isn't on this end. reading your post again i see you where whining in your first post as well. That tells me you are perhaps a habitual whiner But your issues don't end there. You are also distorting facts which are on print and making up things like "dodged several times"? Which "times" (in plural.. according to you)? Are you able to point out to these "times"?

You know what scratch that. I am not bothered to proceed with your kind of silliness on a Monday morning. I get it. Every village has a few of your kind and i will attribute this exchange to that known fact. In fact there is another post in the previous page which was attempting to start some kind of conflict but never got a response.

First emboldened part : I don't have to do notin if i don't see a reason for it. "Normally" people ask questions if they want an answer. There was no question and one is not a mind-reader. So if "normal" people will ask straight questions like in a "normal way" then they will get a normal response.

Second emboldened part: If it's an attempted dig or a punch then its a weak one. Not enough to push buttons of yours truly.

Sorry i may have missed it earlier, what about seafoam? It isn't a good product?

Two lengthy posts that still didn't mention the country. Shall we try again?

"Adulteration" of a product means using ingredients that are not allowed by law, or not following a law that requires disclosure of certain ingredients to the consumer, if such law exists. This is a question about laws not about ethanol.

No what i was saying is every village has a few of your kind.
I think he is using the word adulteration based on the fact that their existing administration is giving these ethanol contracts in a hush hush way and the other fact is people aren't being given the option to purchase a more 'purer' form of gas. From what i understand this has been very secretive and only recently came to be known.

I've heard of some DI pumps (VWAG) having problems with higher concentrations of MTBE in certain high-octane race gas products.

Alcohols in general, I can't say I've seen many problems with modern fuel systems. The only issues I've noticed would be solved with an in-line filter and more frequent oil changes.

Sorry i may have missed it earlier, what about seafoam? It isn't a good product?
What would seafoam do to address ethanol "adulteration?" Nothing.

None of us are mind-readers. If you won't give the actual context for your question you're just going to get a thread spinning in circles like this one.
