Here is my new T300 tire gauge probe which I recently purchased online. It arrived with two Duracell alkaline batteries and a presta valve adapter (seen above). This gauge was advertised with a level 2A accuracy grade but my calibration certificate shows a 3A rating! I don’t think I have ever seen an electronic device over-deliver in this manner and was pleasantly surprised.

I, too, grabbed one with the recent Lightning Deal.

This is my first non-traditional (manual pencil style) pressure gauge so maybe I’m missing a detail…

I haven’t been able to figure it out yet, but I noticed it will take two tries to get the accurate pressure reading. The first press gets me precisely half of what the second press will get. Scale is always in PSI.

For example, put gauge to valve stem, press once, it reads 16.4. Press it into the valve again and it reads 32.8. The second reading is obviously the correct one.

For a cheap tire gauge, it's a nice piece of kit, and one could do worse.

That said, I wouldn't consider the "certificate" any any sort of credential, and trust only that it I've found it deviates only slightly from some other quality gauges I have.

I'm a bit jealous of the little pouch they might have included at one point, according to one of the reviews.

Too bad someone didn't proofread the revised box labeling before signing off on it.

I've ended up liking my first one enough to buy another, the updated T300 Plus model for $10, on sale.

Unofficially meets 3A grade, brighter display, and comes with a pouch.

Was ordering a case for a digital probe tester I have, and ended up getting a couple extra ones for the Etenwolfs.

The slim, molded EVA cases I ordered are commonly sold on Amazon as pencil cases, or cases for Apple Pencil, among other uses, but I got mine "direct" from Aliexpress for cheaper, without Bezos' middleman markup. 3x of these slim cases, plus a larger one intended for a DMM was less than twelve bucks shipped.

Turned out to fit perfectly.

Addendum: the cases I ordered had the following listed measurements (only as good as the seller makes them)

180x60x45 mm outer / 170x50x35 mm inner

The dimensions I targeted, based on my own measurements of the gauge, including a buffer of a few mm, were 165x50x30 mm.

I have this same gauge in my truck. It's quite nice for the money.

I also like the Slime Elite with Pressure AirLock (won't leak on the valve stem). However, it's a major pain to change it's batteries (3 button cell inside -- have to take the whole thing apart).

By any chance, would you have a link, exact name or the seller's name? Thanks

Should have included this originally, since the question has been asked more than once.

It's from Aliexpress, which for those uninitiated, is decidedly not Amazon in terms of customer service, and not a good place to shop for the unwary, unsavvy, or impatient. But can be a great source for many things for those who do learn how to navigate its waters and accept some risk. But that's a different discussion…

I should also note that when I went to use the gauge a few days ago, I found the Kirkland batteries I installed were dead after less than a year, so this gauge does have some idle current draw. At least they're easily replaced.

Thanks for the link.

Another thing to consider when ordering from AliExpress, orders are shipped by the slow boat from China. Expect it to take a month and get surprised if it arrives after only 3 weeks.

I might just leave the batteries loose in the case so they won't drain.

Not anymore, with Choice items, which I've had delivered inside of a week, but more typically 7-10 days.

The third party logistics providers used now get the packages across the ocean much faster than the postal service methods did, though there can be some variability in the reliability of the last mile carriers they hand off to, including the USPS.

Even in the past, the "slow boat" has been more proverbial than literal, as air transport was employed. Most of the additional time was consumed by leisurely sorting and processing.

I could swear I bought the identical pressure gauge, with Astro branding 🤔

Dis one? Not quite identical, though I wouldn't be surprised if it had the same guts, and a common supplier.

Maybe the FastTalkingYouTuber will include it in the next round of testing.
