this morning while walking home, A blacked out honda odyssey started following me.. and stopped behind me then flashed its "police" lights mounted inside the van. slammed it doors and drove away.. I'm not to sure this was a legit police van. Can anyone verify that the undercover police are now using honda minivans??

I've seen them use every kind of vehicle you can imagine.

Police here use unmarked Dodge Caravans for traffic enforcement.
But Honda is a weird choice.
1. I would call the local police. There are too many "wanna be" police officers who have serious insecurity issues in their lives, and this is how they address the problem.
2. There is a trend of various agencies running all blackout vehicles etc. I won't go into too much detail about it, but it is a big problem.
3. I work a lot with people who want to become LEO or are already LEO. And it is frightening, their level of misunderstanding or lack of knowledge of what exactly their job is. Local police and FBI are generally best when it comes to their role. But Sheriff's departments, etc., it is astonishing who the people are who fill those roles. It is a consequence of underfunding and the general requirements in those agencies. That is where the blacked-out Honda van might come from. And it would not surprise me.
