Engine Oil Cooler Seems Small

Okay the coolers under the old part numbers are still available .but under new part numbers. The difference appears to be the angle of the heater hose connections.

The price is unchanged. $74-$95 from any DC dealer.

The odd thing is that these are very common in most of Europe. To the point that they're available just like radiators. "DONUT" oil coolers are Modines (I think) brand name overseas. They have no outlet other than OEM in North America ..at least according to my research. Inquiry to the company has yet to be returned.

Here your chance to help us BITOG members out Gary. Call up Modine and tell them you're considering distributing these to the aftermarket. You'll be selling thousands per year but you only need a few "engineering samples" right now for "testing"...

Seriously though, this is the oddest thing. You can buy them (probably) in Europes version of Wallgreens over the counter..but here you've got to get a prescription.

Not the first time I've seen it. More like a weekly occurrence in my business anyway. "We'll sell you 10,000 but we can't sell you 10. But we will send you 10 samples."
