Engine needs some choke all the time?

take the nut off the bottom of the carb bowl
clean it out, remove the other small jet and clean it
put them back and try to run it
i bet you can do this without removing the carb
will take 5 mins MAX

that I can send information to ? In the meantime, the carburetor is a
Briggs & Stratton 797758 and I found a picture of it at Sears Parts Direct
Right now I'm in the process of determining whether it's an LMT carburetor
or not.

I'm going to need some further information on your generator if you can get it. It's one of those forms where it will not be sent unless all the required information is filled in.
