We switch to new brand oil and find the engine have a little hesitation for several days.Who can explain this?Thank you.

Bruce, you are probably correct. However, a yucky oil with a high volatility might burn off and cause plug fowling or intake deposits. But, it would have to be really yucky oil.

I think he means he changed out the oil for a new brand and now motor hesitates if it was me I would look it over and see what may have been moved or diconected during oil change

On some engines if the dip stick isn't fully sealed and seated it can cause a vacuum leak and hesitation.

That happens on occaision.

I take it that it stopped hesitating after several days. Did you do anything to the engine during those several days?

Interesting. I've never heard of that before.

I've experienced usage problems with new oil types, but never had mechanical problems.

It's application specific. My BMW wouldn't idle at all without the dipstick seated. It depends on how the OEM manages crankcase ventilation.

Well, first it would have to also cause one and then clean it out. It's very unlikely that anything directly related to the oil created this condition.
