To be fair, part of my job is interpreting what someone means by "that valve next to the tubey thing."
EGR?
I think the author left out fuel making happener, lightning tubes, charging whirler....
Or they show us a picture either taken with a spy satellite of the engine bay, or with the camera 2.3mm from the part they want and taken with a potato.

The owner of a body shop in my territory referred to any control module under the engine bay as a "brain box".I lost it at "the brain"
This is probably the diagram he refers to for engine parts too.
Typical… They completely omitted the flux capacitor.

I used to train mechanics at my old job and we'd get some real winnes... some of my favorite questions I was asked would be stuff like
"do I need a plus screwdriver or a minus screwdriver (phillips versus flat)?
Is 2 million Ohms alot of resistance? ( my answer was 2 million of anything is alot)
I need a Henry wrench? ( Henry being Allens cousin
)
So what you are telling me is that if this wire is disconnected the thing won't work? ( Bingo, you win the prize)

We have a guy in service who handles the Spanish speaking customers. World's nicest person, but after many years his English still isn't the best. One of our now retired techs used to purposefully misspell "clockspring" just to hear this guy tell the customers what their car needed. Hint: he skipped the 'L"
