Engine & A/T Ground Cable

i just replace my Ground Cable for engine and A/T i forgot to remove negative battery terminal first Will this cause problems for my car or is it normal?

Since you were only working on grounds. why would that cause an issue.. you usually remove the ground at battery so you dont short a positive somewhere when working on that side of the electrical system.
