Wow! It's only $27 a gallon here at my local NAPA. Have been thinking about trying it but then i would have to stretch out my oci to 7.5k, i get the shakes at 4999mi now.

I like the 55.7 KV @40c.

I didn't notice if it said sustina. It's the first time I've seen the oil in stores.
And that's good info. I didn't know there were different ones.


The NAPAs (at least the ones around here) refuse to, or just plain DO NOT carry the Sustina lineup, just the regular old Eneos line.

I think it's just the normal Eneos, and not the Sustina, at least not yet. I've noticed for some time that Napa Canada's website recommends I use Eneos 5w30 for oil changes. Okay.

I'd never seen it before so I figured I'd post a heads up but apparently they have had it east and west of sask for a while.
Well,now that the VI info has been posted I'm more comfortable with my afe purchase.
Once the temps get below -25 again I will be giving this Mobil 1 an honest shot. I like the cold temp abilities for sure,I've just been so anti Mobil 1 for so long,and anti thin it's giving me a complex deciding to use it.
But I will defer to tigs extensive experience with it,and the fact his engines haven't dissolved(yet) and try to put to rest my personal thoughts on the matter.
There are alot of smart guys in this forum using thin oils and their experiences have been positive,it's just tough getting over years of misinformation and adjusting my thinking patterns.

I'd certainly try Eneos, but that price is a bit much.

Then again, regularly priced synthetic of any sort isn't much better, if at all, and some are worse.

Mobil has great products. As with everything, you have to match the lube to the application. The old Audi did very well on Mobil Delvac 1 ESP 5w-40. It drank the Mobil 1 5w30 like it was going out of style, but it wasn't noisy.
