Emptying Power Extractor

I used my Motive Power extractor for the first time today - emptying out the power steering fluid resevoir/system. Now I have about a quart of used P/S fluid (looks like they used ATF like I did) in the bottom of this big beast.

What is the best way to empty it into something smaller without making a huge mess?

Also, gotta figure out what to put it in. Got about an 1/8 bottle of Royal Purple ATF still in the bottle that I didn't need yet so am hesitant to try to put it in there. Could I just carry the whole darn thing to the autoparts store to have it recycled?

I would get a smaller extractor and use that. You can get one of those Russian nesting doll things going..... 8)

That's the best I came up with, but I'm not sure how good my air is with the huge neck on the power extractor versus a little funnel. Barring any wiz bang better ideas (that don't involve Russian nesting extractors) that's what I'll try.

That why I bought Mityvac 7201, it is both extractor and dispense, no mess in transfer used fluid into a container for recycle.
