EKRN.EXE - memory hog

The module for ESET security (EKRN.EXE) is using just under 2GB, 6 times the memory usage of Firefix or Windows Live Mail. I send an email to ESET to see what they say.

Now I just went from 4 GB to 8 GB on my HP Pavilion laptop. There is now over 6 GB in use.

Its CPU usage is very low (or zero), so maybe no big deal. I have plenty of memory now.

I have used NOD32 for many years, never seen that problem. Uninstall it and reinstall the latest version.

NOD32 is actually known for being one of the lightest-weight AV programs on the market.

Mine is using 77MB. Do you have the latest version from their site? This sounds like a bug.
