"To change the dash bulbs: Pull transmission, then go in through the floor."

"I got this pennzoil at a yard sale... it's a little dark but still has some life in it."

I think those trannies only weigh 20-30#, right? They're only secured to the chassis by a few Phillips-head screws anyway, so it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

Yard sales are famous for dopes selling on the cheap theirgently used motor oil. Every one knows dark oil cleans better than light oil, anyway, duh!

eHow is one of the most worthless sites ever. I love how there's a dozen articles on everything, most of which were written at a third-grade reading level that contradict common sense.

I will not shed a tear when that site vanishes into obscurity.

Based on the image, and the images within that image beside the captions, I'm willing to bet that the site is having some "technical difficulties" right now.....and thus some "images" got swapped in with the wrong captions

For example, image one (the fennel/motor oil) and the caption "How to remote the dashboard..." just don't seem to go together

Likewise, with the third image, washing/waxing a vehicle, related to removing a dvd player? lol.

I will agree, those guys seem to be geared towards the mechanic "newbies" - particularly the way they talk and the way they present themselves.

Have watched some of their videos, and they do more talking than they do "showing" what to do.

I've bee looking at how to do struts on a car, and ran across some of the "procedures". One or more in particular is downright dangerous and several of them do not even list a spring compressor in the tools list even when the steps say "remove springs".

It is like someone who has never done it before wrote up how to replace a strut.
