ECOGARD X4476 oil filter $1.28 on RockAuto
https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=6760352

The ECOGARD X4476 oil filter is marked down on wholesale closeout at RockAuto for $1.28. They must be clearing out some Ecogard inventory as I see other Ecogard air and oil filters are in the clearance bin. Good filler item for your RockAuto orders.

This Ecogard X4476 filter fits my 2nd generation Toyota Prius 1.5L hybrid (2005-2009) and 7th generation Toyota Corolla 1.8L (1993-1997). They are the shorter cans. This filter should be a Premium Guard sub-brand and probably manufactured in PRC.

Additional specs and applications can be found on the Ecogard webpage X4476.

Cross compatible to Fram X4967, Purolator L14476, WIX 51394, Premium Guard PG4476.

I just tossed 8 of the X4612's in the trash.. wasn't happy with them or the PG46121 also trashed. I guess 3,000 mile oil changes are an okay run for those jobbers..

What application(s) are/were you using the X4612s? I have some Ecogard X4610s and PG4610s in my stash for two Hondas.

made lousy in my opinion
In what way? 99.99% of PGI made filters we seen cut open are exceptionally well made.

The biggest advantage PGI filters have over the competition at the moment is lack of excess glue (M+H) and lack of a ruffled leak spring causing ADBV leakage (Champ Labs/First Brand).

I've seen your jobber filter post and expect some variety with PGI having multiple factories across Asia.

If you can have these shipped to your office the price will probably be more reasonable.

I got a box that's like four feet long full of wiper blades sent to my wife's work for eight bucks. It would have been $20 to my house.

I’m running one of the X4612’s on my Mazda 3. Will be changing oil this weekend. I’ll cut it open and post it. The last one I cut was great.
