Ecogard S4651 cut open - 3000 miles

In January I bought them for $2.45 each. I think the x line is definitely a good value at that price.

If you like those basic filters like the X4610 you can order in bulk from Rock Auto like these below but I would not just order one filter because the shipping will eat the deal:

This is a Premium Guard : https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=15222901&cc=1442648&pt=5340&jsn=10

This is a Wix but usually contracted out to China and good quality. https://www.rockauto.com/en/moreinfo.php?pk=13771981&cc=1442648&pt=5340&jsn=8

S241 here... cut

$10 each is a good deal on the x4610?
Or s4610?

But I don't think the x4610 is worth $10 a piece.

S4710 seems like $10 each is basically fully price.
But yeah decent filter.

S4610 is $45cad Amazon.............................. Sorry for all the period, that was my jaw on the keyboard.

I no longer even consider Amazon for oil filter purchases. The pricing is all over the map. I've seen Purolator Tech filters for $2, and then Purolator tech filters for $18. I'm sure it is the fact that some are Amazon listings and others are vendors selling on Amazon.

Also, the last 10 filters in a row I purchased from Amazon were loosely packed in their plastic bubble wrap or paper bags, the packing was destroyed and the filter looked like it was thrown into a wood chipper. Such a waste of time.

Yep. My last two came in bubble wrap envelopes and dented cans.

Amazon does not seem to want to be a low price leader anymore on oil filters unless Wal-Mart directly stocks it and they will price match that (sometimes) .

8-10 years ago, you could buying sub $3 Pentius and Ecogard oil filters all day long and case quantities many times sub $25 from Amazon.
