I remember seeing a recent thread on here about Ebay. I read the fine print but maybe I'm missing something. If I list an item and the bidding doesn't meet the reserve am I still required to pay a bunch of fee's? I see where it says they will re-list the item without additional charges.

I have a linked paypal account and don't want them auto-deducting fee's from my bank account. I think I'll switch my linked account to a different one but I can see them trying to get money from any account previously linked.

For the last year or two, I've been getting a variety of free listings (50 a month or so). You might want to start creating one listing and see what the fee comes back as before you publish it. I think you may get one free relist if it sells in the relist, I have just stayed under my free listings for the month.

If the item doesn't sell, you typically don't pay anything (there are some exclusions, such as vehicles, real estate, etc).

Ebay's fee's have skyrocketed over the past few years. I don't bother selling on there anymore. Not to mention it's incredibly easy to be scammed on tehre these days, Ebay/Paypal almost universally side with the buyer.

Someone should impose fees for apostrophe abuse.

Ebay has changed a lot over the years but IMO they have made a lot of changes that have driven a lot of the problems out. Their newest price structure is easy to deal with too... just figure 10% of the gross item sale price and build it right into your selling price. Done.
