I just saw a small advertisement on a automotive website about theses new spark plugs by E3, has anyone tried them? I have read a few reviews some say they are better and lower fuel useage and some have just had problems with them

Do you think these guys sat around and figured out something that every auto manufacturer and major supplier to the automotive industry missed? If there was a plug that much better than the plugs developed under all the pressure of fuel mileage and emissions and the gazillion dollars spent in research it would be a much bigger story than an Internet marketing campaign. This plug could be something good but with this little exposure how would you ever know? A testimonial without data is hard to understand.

Cars some with platinum or iridium tips on fine wires, with fairly wide gaps, nowadays. That is your best bet - stock plugs for a wide range of conditions.

Put an E3 in my Craftsman mower because the package stated that the plug has a lifetime warranty and as i'm sure guys on this board understand, i was curious as to whether the plug would work. i can say that the mower starts pretty easy and runs well. i am not ready to take the leap and put them in my car just yet.

The only way you're going to get real gains from a different spark plug is if the old ones were either very fouled, worn or not properly suited for your engine. Besides that, a spark is a spark and if it ignites the fuel properly, you're not going to get anything more.

I just installed a set of these on my '95 Ford Aspire... so far so good! Of course it's not like I just installed a supercharger or anything, it's just running well.
