Would you believe that the E0 gasoline sold at a station is the same formulation of detergents and additives as the Ethanol mixed fuel sold at the station? We have a Marathon station who sells both. Nobody at the station seems to know the answer.
What if they are the same? Long as it is zero alcohol fuel is all I would worry about.Would you believe that the E0 gasoline sold at a station is the same formulation of detergents and additives as the Ethanol mixed fuel sold at the station? If anything i would think the E0 fuel would have more octane additives like toluene or xylene since there is no alcohol to help with the octane rating.Would you believe that the E0 gasoline sold at a station is the same formulation of detergents and additives as the Ethanol mixed fuel sold at the station? Another small freedom stolen from us by some agency that does not represent us.Cant buy e0 here
I’m not sure why the attendants at the station would know or care. This is like asking your grocery store what farm the milk came from.Would you believe that the E0 gasoline sold at a station is the same formulation of detergents and additives as the Ethanol mixed fuel sold at the station? No ethanol is mixed at the station. All additives are added to the total volume at the terminal, with or without EtOH.Would you believe that the E0 gasoline sold at a station is the same formulation of detergents and additives as the Ethanol mixed fuel sold at the station? I'd expect an adequate level of additives, as E0 is a "premium" fuel despite being low octane.Would you believe that the E0 gasoline sold at a station is the same formulation of detergents and additives as the Ethanol mixed fuel sold at the station? The truck was totaled but you kept it?I'd expect an adequate level of additives, as E0 is a "premium" fuel despite being low octane.
This much I know, E0 helped my 5.4L F150 achieve as much as 2MPG more. Not only did it run better, but the engine never developed any significant deposits, never had any engine codes or faults, and always performed perfectly. It made it to 200K miles before my wife totaled the truck. Engine still runs perfectly, I start it up every week.
Possibly, but Marathon dropped top tier from their fuels a few years ago. It's also possible that a particular station may be sourcing the E0 from elsewhere.Would you believe that the E0 gasoline sold at a station is the same formulation of detergents and additives as the Ethanol mixed fuel sold at the station? My buddy used to tune K series and he was adament that 88-90 was where non boosted K series ran their best.. Time will tell although in the heat I can say yes he was right. I think in winter it will be 87 with e0 87 or 91 e0 as a top off <3 gallons due to winter.Been hitting up the Cenex and Shell 89 e5 and got 37mpg. Both premium 91&93 clear and 87 was e10 so I'm okay with the 4-6%. Was blistering hot out today and these K series GDI calm down on dilution with a higher grade.
