Some people freak out over the color of aftermarket transmission fluid, especially CVT fluid, even though there is nothing wrong with using a different color.
While aftermarket CVT fluids are available in the common amber and green colors used on some OEM fluids, there are other OEM colors not available in the aftermarket, such as Subaru's High Torque orange, and worse, Subaru only sells the HT Orange by the 5-gallon bucket
But I found this Rekahoil dye on eBay, available in many colors, for petroleum products. It is available in orange as well as green and blue, in addition to other colors not relevant for this use case.
If I had a Subaru requiring HT CVT, I'd strongly consider Lubegard Complete CVT fluid and the orange dye.
