I am down in the Socal desert visiting my parents. I try to maintain their cars. I been buying Mobil 1 5W-30 for my fathers once a year OCI on his 02 PT Cruiser. I stopped by the local Autozone to pick up some GC for his next OCI. I gave up on Mobil 1.
I bought the 5 quarts of dusty GC they had. They still had the old pre 02 yellow label Syntec behind the GC. The batch I bought were M0687. The guy at the counter told me he never seen anybody buy the 0W-30 before. I told him it's the only full synthetic in the Castrol lineup. I could of have been speaking Polish all he knew.
