I went to Take 5 oil change today for oil change on my 15 VW CC. and of course they did not have Castrol Edge or Mobil1 in stock. So had to use this Duramax. It states approved VW 502 and 505. Meets all requirements specs. Anyone know anything about this oil? 🤔 Should I go and get it out of my vehicle asap?

The verbiage used to notate an approval under Mercedes Benz is not correct so it may not have official approvals but judging from the company behind the label I don't think there's anything to really worry about. .

As already noted the oil doesn’t “meets all requirements specs”, it either has the approval or not. And this one doesn’t. It also doesn’t state that it’s approved.

Except for the fact that it has none of those approvals. The only thing verifiable is the API license.
