I have a L36 with orig tb. The engine and tb is a1999 in a 1997 LSS.
Several days ago, it threw DTC P0121 and I replaced the tps with another one thought to be good. I drove 200+ miles that day, starting many times and all is well.
The next morning, DTC P0121 is almost withing 15 seconds of first start. I drive over to AZ and get a new tps. Upon removal of old one, I didnt hear the characteristic "click", but installed new tps as I had to go to work. I cleard code, and again, all is well for the same route as day before.
The next morning, DTC P0121! This time, I removed tps, and heard no "click". I re-installed the sensor, cleared the code, and again drove all day without incident.
If this should happen again in the morning, what is happening??
