Not for me, obviously. A friend of mine bought it and wanted me to drive it to get my opinion. I didn't check the trim level but I think it had most every feature available. For someone who wants a comfortable and secure ride I would say it's a perfect choice. If, like me, you want a more involving drive I'd look to Mazda, BMW, or Audi. Or-better yet-a Grand Cherokee SRT8. My friend paid $42k for the Ford but for similar money I'd go with a CPO GC SRT in a heartbeat. But I'm a car enthusiast/track geek and my friend is not. So the Explorer is a good fit for him.
