Indeed. I've lost track of the times I've come up with a question, gotten all smart and googled it first, only to find not only the answer but that I had asked it some time in the past already! Might be considered poor form but I like to keep my threads answered, just in case I ever need to come back and do the job a second time, or want to look up an answer to something.

Usually want tailshaft and pinion || the DS has a max working angle. Hence issues ( severe driveline resonance) with lifted trucks.

Yes you can shorten it yourself with a hacksaw and AC stick welder. Use 6011 rod. If you get vibrations just undo the U joint and rotate the driveshaft 180deg.
