Farthest to Nearest is the usual way to go about it, and without other information it's what I would do.
There was a recent thread here from someone who had problems with his bleeding. Eventually, he took it to a dealer, and it turned out there was a different pattern to follow.

My Subaru with abs lists the proper bleading sequence as RF>LR>LF>RR. THIS IS CORRECT FOR MOST VEHICLES WITH ABS. The reason for this sequence is so that contaminated fluid does not degress into the other lines, hense the first should be the shortest. Older cars without abs use the farthest first sequence. ed
