Down at the Corvette Car show

Actually, I am a Corvette owner. A 2022 Black Z51 Convertible.

But I don't go to any meets, clubs, or car shows with it. I only drive it around the Vermont countryside in good weather, trying to avoid joggers, bicyclists and law enforcement.

The idea of driving around in a group with a dozen other guys has no appeal to me.

Show us a picture of you standing next to it while wearing your cutoff jean shorts!

That is one nice looking Z-51 hardtop convertible Corvette. I don't care if people knock the older C8 Corvette owners they might be older but the car still will run 11.2 seconds in the quarter mile in stock trim. Just because you are older it will not slow the car down.

So what's the problem?
No problem-although I sure wish GM made a world class competitor to the Corolla or Civic instead of the Corvette. Corvette are like Harley-Davidson were just a few short years ago, very profitable, but their buyers are dying, and not a deep pool of young people wanting to replace the dying buyers.

I want a healthy GM..... not a flashy GM.....

Yes I have to agree regarding the Corolla Civic cult following. They are awesome cars and that's why we ordered a new Rav4 XSE hybrid. I do believe Corvette's will always have a good resale.

I want a Corvette but young people like me don't have 60k to dump on a car that can't even carry all your friends. A v70r wagon would be lit
