This reminds me a lot of the local GWRRA chapter.
I was in my 30's, and they couldn't understand why I didn't want to join their chapter, or even ride with them.
If I had wanted to ride with a bunch of guys who were my Dad's age, to the Dairy Queen once a month... I would have been all in.

Fake news, all those sneakers would be New Balance if this was a real pic
+2

And at least two of the guys need to be wearing shirts with Corvette logos all over it. And four if not five of them need a hat with a Corvette logo.

actually doesn't bode well to corvettes future
Well, these younger guys really love the C8 and the Ferrari style look seems to appeal to the many generations. There production numbers are proof that it is a very profitable niche for GM. Corvette's retain a very high resale value and there are many people drooling and waiting for them to come down in price but it just doesn't happen.

Only knew one C8 owner. My next-door neighbor in Utah. He was 82 years old, drove his Vette daily to pickleball...... to daily show off to his other retired buddies.

I was out for coffee with a former coworker a few months ago. We were seated near a CanAm Spyder trike just outside.

I commented jokingly it likely belonged to a retired proctologist.

A few minutes later an 80ish prosperous-looking man left the coffee shop and drove away on the trike.

Actually, I am a Corvette owner. A 2022 Black Z51 Convertible.

But I don't go to any meets, clubs, or car shows with it. I only drive it around the Vermont countryside in good weather, trying to avoid joggers, bicyclists and law enforcement.

The idea of driving around in a group with a dozen other guys has no appeal to me.
