Does Zerex Make the Dodge/Ford G05?

Out of curiosity, I wonder if Zerex actually manufactures the Chrysler and Ford G05 products.

What is the difference between these products?
All products use the Zerex G-05 formulation. The only difference is the dye color.


However, in this chart, it shows the Mopar brand has no phospahates, but the Zerex does. A mistake???

What got me started on this is that my local Chrysler dealers want $27 dollars a gallon for their G05. I will not buy it just on principle alone. I challenged the dealer, but they don't care if they are losing sales.

I have some Zerex G-05 and it states clearly on the jug that there are no phosphates in it.

The Zerex G-05 is a formulation that originated by the BASF company and is marketed under the brand name of Glysantin, hence the 'G' in the name.

The product is in fact produced by the Ashland Chemical Company under authority of BASF, for the North American market. Ashland also produces the G-30 and G-48 formulas for the European vehicles that are produced in North America. If you go to a VW dealership or a BMW dealership and buy a gallon of coolant you will get a Glysantin product made by Ashland (zerex).
