I have it somewhere, for the 2006 LS430, purchased in 2016. I emailed Lexus asking for it, as well as an owner's manual. Where those are, I don't know, they sent them via US Mail.
Watching tv or YouTubes on classic cars, put this idea of a build sheet in my mind. On the Lexus, I remember seeing something like cargo net, mats, SAT radio, as being port installed options. I saw the selling dealership was in Naples, FL. And it was for the most part straightforward and showed the list price of the vehicle (I had paid $14k and felt smug that it was $65,xxx new). It's a great car, nothing ever breaks and still driven daily. Can get 28 mpg on the highway, silly that it's rated 22.
I saw online that our Tahoe was built this past week, so I emailed the sales mgr. can you please email the order (I had seen some folks were handed it when they ordered, most no, inconsistent process). On the forum there were people saying I ordered in March should I have heard anything yet? And it was July. Many thought this entire custom order process is dealer dependent, as far as the customer being informed on what's going on. I agree.
We ordered 5/31 so imho the wait is in the ballpark, not terrible. It's mind boggling what an order/build sheet looks like for an American car, down to GU5 3.23 axles. I was not aware that this vehicle had an external engine oil cooler (uncle's Suburban had it burst causing damage, it was around a '97 model).
I'm glad she emailed it, and interestingly, under the events section the inquiry was for 10, which omits the first 11 (such as order placed, preliminary status, etc.). This may have been on purpose; I think I'd come across as pretty pushy if I asked her to rerun it. I'll live the way it is.
The RPOs look something like this but it's a huge list that spans 2 pages. It never dawned on me to ask for the 2007 BMW which was ordered, but online, the color was wrong right through production, so I didn't have much faith in the process anyway. The 2011 Enclave was purchased off the lot so nothing there, nor with the 1998 Maxima, also off the lot.

One last source of puzzlement is the VIN. The last 6 is the serial number. For the most part they are all going to be identical other than a check digit.
For example, take this one: 1GNS6TRLxSRxxxxxx
I say every 2025 Tahoe should be the above, where the first x is a check digit, then the last 6 is the serial number. Ours is above 380000. Every one I see online that's on the lot or in transit, is lower. But there is one in NC on the lot, which a higher VIN than ours. How can that be, that is, if, they are assigned in sequence? If it were me, for whatever reason, higher number is better. If I were buying off the lot, I would look for a higher number and a more recent production month. I could be going about it all wrong, as I usually am.
Be curious if anyone collects order/build sheets.
edit: I suspect the TRL in the VIN indicates trim, as this website is able to decode the trim level
