Do you enjoy watching T.V Series ?

Some of my faves:
Bewitched
I Dream Of Jeanie
The Partridge Family
The Monkees
The Fugitive
The Brady Bunch
Family
Eight is Enough
Chips
The Dukes of Hazard
Green Acres
Gilligans Island
All of the Sid and Marty Crofft shows
You know what else was around when all those shows were being broadcast? Remember, "The Seal Of Good Practice"? Stations would all but brag they were a participating member. It stood for quality broadcasting, that met a certain standard of broadcast quality. Today that's gone out the window. It's pretty much anything goes... And most of it has gone to hell.

I really like watching series. However, I mostly watch Netflix, Disney+ or Hulu. We also sometimes visit free streaming sites to get the content out of our subscriptions. As for the ordinary TV, I've already can't remember the last time I watched it.

NCIS
NCIS LA
Keeping up appearances
Are you being served
All creatures great and small
Open all hours
Hogans heroes
The night stalker
The Invaders
A few others.

I hate NEVER ENDING SERIES ...

BUT we love LIMITED SERIES. Limited Series actually end, like a movie but longer. 8 episodes or so and done. Has an actual ending, dont have to get roped into it year after year.
Also of course love movies because they too have an ending.

For anyone that has Netflix. I highly suggest a new Limited Series, we are binging on it, only a few more episodes to go.

Must see = "Inventing Anna"
Amazing, star is from Ozark. Anna Chlumsky

Just finished season 3 of Longmire, 3 to go.

I do like watching a good series but I like recording them (Directv) then binge them. Right now I have the latest season of Succession and Yellowstone. I have a bunch of Ancient Aliens to catch up on and a few Graveyard Cars.

Drain the Oceans on National Geographic. Using hi tech sonar and imagining software underwater objects are looked at as if all the water was removed. A very good show to watch with grandkids.

Another must see mini series on Hulu = The Dropout ... another true story.
1. HIGHLY recommend "The Dropout" incredible recent true events (Hulu) Just amazing and involved companies with household names.

2. Highly recommend "Halt and Catch Fire" another true limited series (Netflix)

and in-between those two

3. "Inventing Anna" another true mentioned by me in a few posts above this one.(Netflix)

Five or so titles mentioned on this thread are unknown to me.
I'll give them a look-up on IMBD.

In science fiction / outer space genre':
I gotta say after being IMPRESSED with the show "Crusade", where a single spaceship and crew seek a cure for a robotically delivered poison which will kill all life on Earth in 5 years, I'm puzzled that nobody's heard of it!

It's great. The crew is dedicated but stressed as they were hastily assembled and launched into space. Good premise.

Breaking Bad and Better Call Saul, partly because I grew up in Albuquerque and liked trying to discern the shooting locations. Got some but the city has changed so much in fifty years that I didn't do too well. Did get the one shot in Nob Hill that showed the WWII Ford Agency building.

Just bought a couple of seasons of Numb3rs on Amazon Prime. Yes, We PAID FOR seasons of an old show no longer on TV....

And it's not cheap. Know why?

1. Fairly high quality writing
2. No trash (Rated PG)
3. Not much propaganda

Obviously this stuff is in demand when amazon is able to charge for seasons like they are.

We used to always watch Catfish. That show was hilarious!! The movie, though was really scary. Nothing like the series. There was a part where Nev was walking up to this barn in the middle of the night, that was literally out in the middle of nowhere.
