Whatever happened to FP60? I don't see it even mentioned anymore on these forums. At one time it was the be all and end all of fuel additives. I've been using it off and on for a few years and am not convinced it provides any advantages for smoothness, cleanliness or mpg. I have a small amount of my last order left and will be using it up...but won't be buying anymore.

+1. I think they pulled out as a sponsor? I went through a jug of FP3000 when that came out and came to the same conclusion, but FP3k isn't listed on their site anymore.

I read through a buried topic about a novel (to me anyway) idea I never would have come up with on my own: adding TC-W3 2-cycle motor oil to fuel, at about a 500:1 ratio. Read about it last night, and the results posted interested me enough to try it. I picked up a 1/2 liter bottle of Castrol Super Outboard Oil to toss in the fuel tank tonight, at what I calculated to be close to the 500:1 desired ratio. It was less than $4 and at 500:1, it should go a long way. I also scored the last Pennzoil Platinum 5w30 bottle of oil on the shelves at a $19.88 rollback, to add to my small stash, so it was a productive WM trip

I made the first mention I know of for using 2-stroke engine oil in fuel years ago. I had no idea if it would do any good, and really don't think it does any good, but at least it does no harm to anything except the wallet. 2-stroke oil is benign compared to some of the home-brew stuff people were dumping into their fuel.
