Do Vehicles have "Souls".....

We all have our opinion of vehicles and the memories of things that happened to you when you owned them. LS2JSTS used the word "soul" instead of personality but I think that is what he meant as a result of a conversation with him. Some of my cars would drive differently when Tony would drive them -- they knew not to act out with him because he would work on them or sell them. Special memories was the 1982 Cadillac he gave me for our anniversary present.

Car love goes two ways, you got to give it before you can receive it and the car knows. Cars are not just steel, plastic, rubber and glass. Cars have yeng and yang.....
You are confusing "love" & "basic maintenence proceedures" You can love my car but I want to watch.

There's no such thing as too sensible.

Cars are appliances. We can still be emotionally attached to them, and they can still make us happy. Nothing wrong with that at all. We don't have to believe they are alive for them to have emotional value.
