Probably better than Ying Yang or Nankang tires. The other day I saw a Range Rover wearing some Mastercraft tires. Are they factory tires? I thought Mastercraft was a budget tire.
The Range Rover owner using budget tires? can't afford top tier brand tires? Ironic, isn't it?The other day I saw a Range Rover wearing some Mastercraft tires. Are they factory tires? I thought Mastercraft was a budget tire.
When you spend $3000 or $4000 for one, you ain't gonna blow another $1000 on Michelin's.The Range Rover owner using budget tires? can't afford top tier brand tires? Ironic, isn't it?
If you can afford a $90,000+ vehicle, you can afford Michelins, Pirellis, or Continentals. When you spend $3000 or $4000 for one, you ain't gonna blow another $1000 on Michelin's.
You'd be surprised. Used to have all sorts of people riding in fairly new Mercedes, BMW's, Jaguar's, etc. come into the shop wearing "budget" tires. A lot of people bite off more than they can chew with an expensive luxury car. They may be able to barely make those big payments, and they usually don't consider the maintenance and upkeep that's not posted in the sticker price on the window. If you can afford a $90,000+ vehicle, you can afford Michelins, Pirellis, or Continentals.
Who said it was new? 15 year old RR's on their 3rd or 4th owners are $3000 or $4000.If you can afford a $90,000+ vehicle, you can afford Michelins, Pirellis, or Continentals.
Warstud (the OP) implied it was recently new enough, hence the question about mastercraft been an OEM supplier.Who said it was new? 15 year old RR's on their 3rd or 4th owners are $3000 or $4000.
I think the performance focus (RS, ST??) came with Cooper Zeons at one point.I don't believe Cooper provides any OEM tires, certainly not under the Mastercraft brand.
Yup, and it was a pain in the rear getting replacements through Ford's tire program.I think the performance focus (RS, ST??) came with Cooper Zeons at one point.
Only time I've ever seen Coopers as OEM.
