I went to Big O tires and was quoted $453 for 4 tires, road hazard, lifetime rotation and
balancing. I then went to Discount Tire and they said they would not be undersold. The deal
they gave me was the same tires and warranty for $390!! Good company to do business with.

I just bought 4 Pirelli Cinturato P7 All Season Plus tires from DT. I found the same tires on Amazon with free shipping for about $20 a tire cheaper than DT...they politely matched the Amazon price no questions asked..and there is a $60 rebate from Pirelli too.

I bought those same tires (nice) for my daughters Civic. DT beat the DTD price which was lower than TR. They do things like this often. The informed buyer has many options.

There is no reason to go to Big O tires, their price and their service isn't good.

Discount Tire(America's Tire in So Cal) do price match and with service second to none is the place to go.

When I had my winter tires mounted on new wheels, they quoted me a price for TPMS sensors. I told them I had seen the same sensors on Amazon for much less and told them the price. The salesman beat that price. He saved me about $40 on the set. I was very pleased.

For now, DT is my go to store for all my tires. I hope they never loose track of their value on the customer.

I think DT doesn't make much profit from knowledgeable customers who do some research online. But DT makes good money from walk-in customers by charging full retail price for most parts and tires.
